Velocity Restomod 1972 Ford F-250 Pickup in Cactus Green

Who would have thought that a vintage truck like the 1972 Ford F-250 would be so breathtakingly modern could come from? Thanks Velocity restorations and its partnership with Roadster Shop that's exactly what happened.

The classic was not only painted in a chic Cactus Green, but also on a brand new, specially developed chassis which takes performance to a whole new level.

And under the hood? There is a mighty Gen III Coyote V8 at work, the one Classics a good portion of muscle. That alone sounds like a dream for all tuning fans, but it gets even better: The F-250 was equipped with Wilwood sports brakes, a completely new Coilover chassis and 18 inch steel rims from the accessories, on which coarse-tread off-road tires are mounted. With the new tuning features, the F-250 is the absolute boss on the road and of course also off-road, that much is certain.

And the interior is of course also an absolute highlight: Green leather, chrome and fine suede give the cabin the ultimate luxury touch that you would never expect in an old pickup truck. You could almost say that the restomod F-250 would definitely not be out of place on the way to the boutique in the city - if you dare to take it out of the garage!

Of course everything is handmade

And the best part? Everything was Velocity restorations in their 135.000 square meter workshop in Florida. There, over 120 specialists work to ensure that each Restomod is unique. In recent years, they have established themselves as the ultimate address for vehicle restorations in combination with restomod conversions, which carry out all work in-house.

But of course this quality also comes at a price – and with this Ford F-250 you can be sure that it is not cheap. But one thing is certain: Every cent is worth it! If you like the special mix of classic look and appreciates modern technology, then this pickup will be your new favorite. Photo credit / Source: Velocity Restorations
